In Colombia the most popular musical rhythm is called VALLENATO. It comes from Caribbean Coast and the principal characteristic of this enthusiastic music is that is lidded by the accordion that have a very important participation in develops  of the songs, accompanied with the percussion drums, congas, timbales, electric bass, guacharaca and vocals.

 

VALLENATO´S KING FROM COLOMBIA BETO JAMAICA is one of the most important Vallenato and Cumbia players, and he was the winner of the Vallenato Festival in 2006 in Colombia, that’s why he has the name title of VALLENATO KING.

 

The music of this artist it’s a mixed of several kinds of music from Colombia like cumbia, paseo, porro, and of curse vallenato. This rhythms are very dynamics and they have a very deep cultural meaning that represent the way of live, think, act and feeling from the Colombian people.

 

VALLENATO´S KING BETO JAMAICA have played in more than 50 musical productions, he has made tours in country like hungry, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Paraguay. The most recently musical album from this artist its called KING OF MY FOLKLORE by the Colombian mayor label CODISCOS, from this album there are two songs that have got in top five in radio station in all Colombia, and this songs have had very good spread in radio stations in countries like USA, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Spain.

 

The line up is conformed by accordion: Beto Jamaica, lead voice and guacharaca: Edgar Fernandez, electric bass and backing vocals:  Fernado Martinez, congas: Libardo Carreño, caja vallenata (percussion): Ariel Villaveces timbales: Nestor Chaparro.
